The NRA Personal Protection course (LTC-003) is an 8 hours long course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. (Minimum class size is 3).
Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development

Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a Massachusetts State Police Basic Firearms Safety Certificate which is valid for a LTC or FID in Massachusetts.
